The company manages the aqueducts and sewers of many Lombard municipalities, the element of water and the connections were the themes from which the project was generated.
The building fits into a residential context on the edge of the "La Spezia" park. The area is completely reviewed by opening a large public square inside which the building stands.
A monolithic volume characterized by a cantilever highlights the main entrance and at the same time evokes the image of a floating ark.
The façade shows the the CAP group activities with a plot that strongly recalls the theme of the connections through a tribute to the work of Piet Mondrian.
The ground floor hosts public functions such as an exhibition area, the bistro, the nursery and conference rooms, while the company's offices are located on the upper floors.
La società gestisce gli acquedotti e le fognature di molti comuni lombardi, l'elemento dell'acqua e le connessioni sono stati i temi da cui si è generato il progetto.
Il progetto si inserisce in un contesto residenziale ai margini del parco "La Spezia". L'area a disposizione viene completamente riletta aprendo una grande piazza pubblica all'interno della quale sorge l'edificio.
Un volume monolitico caratterizzato da un grande sbalzo evidenzia l'ingresso e al contempo evoca l'immagine dell'arca galleggiante.
La facciata mette in mostra le attività del gruppo CAP con una trama che richiama fortemente il tema delle connessioni attraverso un tributo all'opera di Piet Mondrian.
Il piano terra raccoglie le funzioni pubbliche come l'area espositiva, il bistrot, l'asilo nido e sale conferenze mentre ai piani superiori vengono collocati gli uffici dell'azienda.
